Creator Economy
Built for a Creator Capital Company
A creator economy startup had scaled to funding YouTube creators with up to $30M in capital, but their internal operations still ran on tribal knowledge. Deal tracking lived in Airtable, team communication lived in Discord, and the only way to get answers about a creator's status, payment history, or deal terms was to ask the person who happened to know. With a lean team managing hundreds of creator relationships, that didn't scale.
The Gap
Operational intelligence lived in people's heads, not systems
The team coordinated everything through Discord and tracked creator data, invoices, and deal terms in Airtable. But connecting the two was manual. Team members toggled between platforms, copy-pasted data, and relied on whoever happened to be online to answer operational questions. As the portfolio grew, the team spent more time searching for information than acting on it.
What We Built
A Value Layer that turns Discord into an intelligent operations interface, encoding institutional knowledge about deal flow, creator management, and company operations into an AI agent that lives where the team already works.
Airtable as structured memory
The agent connects directly to the Airtable database, understanding the schema of creator records, deal stages, payment schedules, and contract terms so any team member can query company data in natural language.
Discord as the operations surface
Instead of building a new tool the team has to learn, the agent lives inside Discord, the platform they already use every hour of every day. Questions that used to require pinging a colleague get instant, accurate answers from the agent.
Operational context that compounds
The agent understands Everbloom's specific deal stages, terminology, and workflows. It doesn't just retrieve data, it interprets it in the context of how the business actually operates.
Cross-platform intelligence
By bridging Discord and Airtable, the agent eliminates the manual toggling and copy-pasting that fragmented the team's workflow, creating a single conversational interface for company-wide operational knowledge.
The result: any team member, from the CEO to a new hire, can ask questions like "what's the status of this creator's deal?" or "show me all creators with outstanding invoices" and get instant answers without leaving Discord.
Layer 3
Applications
Discord bot (operations agent)
Layer 2
The Value Layer
Context
Creator records, deal terms, payment schedules, operational terminology
Prompting
Deal stage logic, query interpretation, operational context rules
Orchestration
Cross-platform bridging (Discord + Airtable), natural language data access
Layer 1
Systems of Record
Airtable database (creators, deals, invoices), Discord message history
The Result
| Metric | Before | With Value Layer |
|---|---|---|
| Time to find information | Minutes to hours (ask a colleague, search Airtable) | Seconds (ask the agent in Discord) |
| Knowledge dependency | Specific team members who "just know" | Any team member, anytime |
| Platform switching | Constant toggling between Discord + Airtable | Single conversational interface |
| New hire onboarding | Weeks to learn where things live | Immediate access to institutional knowledge |
| Operational bottleneck | Team members blocked waiting for answers | Self-serve intelligence on demand |
What This Proves
- The Value Layer doesn't require new tools. It can embed intelligence into systems you already use.
- No migration, no learning curve, no workflow disruption.
- Tribal knowledge becomes persistent, queryable institutional intelligence.
